The "Journey Through the Open Doorway" was in the process of creativity for over two years. It represents number seven in the Creation Series of twelve pen and ink drawings. The trek with fourteen others on the Inca Trail to Machu Pichuu and those loving Peruvians who assisted us set the stage for this very exciting drama. In truth it signifies my view of our Earthy journey back to God. This is seen through the symbol in the center top called the Hologram of Love representing Unconditional Love. Unconditional Love is the Open Doorway back to God. If one views our spirits as being eternal then it is not about the Alpha and Omega but about the journey itself which is important and at the present time, very exciting!

The time spent on these drawings average two hundred hours with no drafting or erasing.

Creation Series Home

I encourage all who are interested in drawing in pursuing this attitude. It will in time develop excellence.

During this two year period, I completed the multi media collection known as the She Series. This Goddess series includes one study drawing for each of the twelve collages and represents the balancing of the yin and yang energies inherent in all of us. The Goddess in each of these images shares our oneness with the animal kingdom and Mother Earth. I have been guided to now paint a thirteenth collage to the series and look forward to the creative hours bringing forth an eastern flair and whatever message Spirit wishes to express.

It is the influence of the She series in its totality and the work with the Hologram of Love through Alton's workshop in November 1997 that finally activated the concluding images needed for the success-ful creation of "The Journey Through the Open Doorway". My trip to Egypt in October of last year also contributed from the deepest level of my heart to the energy focused in its completion. It would be useless to try and understand the full measure that this trip to Egypt has played in this creation.
